Ira Glass, the iconic voice behind This American Life, will join NPR’s Wild Card host Rachel Martin for a keynote conversation unlike any you’ve ever been a part of. This one-on-one, choose-your-own-adventure conversation will let Glass and Martin open up about their fears, their joys, and how they’ve built meaning from experience – all with the help of a very special deck of cards. You won’t want to miss this!

The Podcast Landscape: 2024 w/ Tom Webster

We’re also excited to announce that Sounds Profitable's Tom Webster returns to the main stage, as he unveils the 2024 edition of The Podcast Landscape, the largest public study of podcast usage in America.

The second in the series, this year's Podcast Landscape will trend all of the key vital signs of podcasting, including behavior shifts in discovery, churn, and key perceptions of the medium. The report will also provide the industry's most reliable estimates of podcast consumption amongst all key demographic groups. In addition, this newly expanded study will dive into the podcast habits of several previously underserved groups, including Asian Americans and the LGBTQ+ community. The flagship study for Sounds Profitable, The Podcast Landscape is produced in partnership with Signal Hill Insights and sponsored by BetterHelp, ESPN Podcasts/Good Karma Brands, LibsynAds, NPR, Paramount, SXM, and Wondery.

Reminder: Record Live from PM24, Thanks to YAP Media!

Podcast Movement attracts thousands of podcasters from around the world, so wouldn't it make sense if there was a way to record podcasts live from the event? Well lucky for you, thanks to our partners at YAP Media Podcast Network, you can!

The Pavilion will be going live at PM24 all day Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and you can now reserve your spot before they fill up.

Reminder: Join us for a live recording of Tiny Desk Concerts!

Podcast Movement is excited to partner with NPR & Gaylord National Resort to invite fifteen PM24 guests to a live private recording of Tiny Desk Concerts at the NPR Headquarters in Washington DC.

PM and Gaylord National invite all interested PM24 attendees who are staying at the Gaylord hotel to apply for one of these EXTREMELY LIMITED spots for this exclusive live recording of Tiny Desk Concerts, and a reception afterwards!

All qualifying applicants will be entered into a raffle and chosen at random for one of 15 spots. All chosen applicants will receive up to two passes to the recording, one for them and another for a "plus one".

To qualify, you must be a registered passholder for PM24, and must be staying at the Gaylord hotel for the event, with a check in on or before August 19. If you've not yet booked your hotel, do it here.

Podcast Movement has always been the best place in the world each year to meet up with other podcasters and podcast industry professionals. This year at PM24, we're excited to once again host official Community Meetups.

What's a Community Meetup, you ask? Community Meetups are hosted by event attendees, have a focused topic or area of interest, and will show up on the official event schedule so that other attendees can join up.

This year, we'll have a dedicated meetup night (Wednesday Night) where we've got several spaces set aside for these meetups. Enjoy a casual atmosphere where you all can gather as formally or informally as you'd like!
